Update 03/08/11
We have heard from Wanborough that the reason for the no-show was due to serious illness to their captain, Ray Miller, who had greater things on his mind.
We wish Ray all the best and look forward to playing Wanborough in an s&d league match on Tuesday 9th.

We were due to play Wanborough BC today – 2 triples at home and 2 away.  We turned up at both venues…..they did not.  After calling around it turns out that they had cancelled but had not told us – very frustrating for the 12 players that had made themselves available and had made the effort to travel.  Thank you to these players.

We therefore gain a free ride to the next round which is actually the quarter final stage.  We will play Haydon Wick on Sunday 14th August.

An availability sheet is posted up on the board, preference will be given to the original 12 players scheduled to play against Wanborough.
